The Ken Onion Edition Elite Mk.2 is the complete benchtop belt sharpening system from Work Sharp. It combines the Ken Onion Mk.2 sharpener with the Mk.2 Blade Grinding Attachment, giving you two ways to sharpen on one power platform. It handles everything from quick touch-ups on a favorite folder to full reprofiles and custom edge work. Designed with knifemaker Ken Onion, it sits at the top of our electric knife sharpeners.

Sharpening Guide: The guided cassette runs 3/4" x 12" belts through an adjustable 15 to 30 degree guide with leather lined faces, for precise, repeatable edges on knives. A tool sharpening cassette with a 65 degree scissor guide covers scissors, axes, and garden tools.

Blade Grinding Attachment: The grinder mounts to the base without tools or calibration and runs larger 1" x 18" belts horizontally, like a knifemaker's grinder scaled for the bench. Edge angles adjust from 10 to 35 degrees, and you can adjust them while the belt is running. A three position pulley system dials in low, medium, or high convex profiles without tools. Reference plates help hold the blade level, and the chassis is rigid metal throughout.

Belts: Each mode ships with its own five belt kit. The 3/4" x 12" kit runs P120, X65, X22, and X4 to a 6000 grit extra fine belt. The 1" x 18" kit runs the same P120 through X4 progression and finishes at 12000 grit for a polished apex. Fresh belts for both sizes are stocked in our replacement sharpening belts collection, including a cloth Stropping Belt Kit for the grinder.

Motor: Seven speed settings with LED indicators let you run slow on thin kitchen edges and fast on tools. Torque control keeps belt speed steady under load.
