The Medford USMC EOD is a multi use fixed blade developed by Medford Knife & Tool in collaboration with active USMC Explosive Ordnance Disposal technicians at Twentynine Palms. The EOD-1 design went into production for the United States Marines, and every one is made in Phoenix, Arizona.
Every feature answers a job EOD techs face. A blunted end works as a probe, a side hammer on the pommel handles striking, and a carabiner hole lets you pull wire. Built on 0.29 inch stock with full G-10 scales, it is a heavy duty tactical knife that doubles as a tool, with a matching Kydex sheath.
The EOD runs a roughly 5 inch DLC coated CPM 3V blade, 10.25 inches overall, and weighs 19 ounces. Choose black, coyote, or OD green G-10 with a matching Kydex sheath. CPM 3V brings the toughness this kind of work demands, and our knife steel guide shows how it compares. This page also carries the Medford USMC Fighter, and the Marine lineup continues with the USMC Raider and USMC Trench Knife.
